Hi there no-coders, coders, app developers, entrepreneurs and anyone else that has created or is interested in creating an app with Dittofi.

We have had a really busy few months and the team and I felt like it was time to give you an update on our how our business is progressing.

As those who have worked directly with our founding team know, we are a very tech heavy outfit. This means that sometimes our communications are a little less frequent than maybe they should be…. but we have (even if quietly) been making huge strides as a business and as a technology.

** Dittofi Company Update **

In the last six months, we have attracted thousands of startups, SMEs and enterprises to Dittofi – all of these businesses want to build apps and all of these businesses want to do it faster than their competitors.

About 50% of these businesses are startups and SMEs that have already tried and failed to build scalable apps on traditional no-code platforms – such as Bubble, OutSystems, Adalo, Xano and so on. 

The other 50% are enterprise technology teams. These teams have groups of developers that have built technology by hand. These teams are also struggling to scale their hand written code.

For the individuals and businesses that have found us, Dittofi and our suite of tools for rapid app development (our visual no-code studio, enterprise hosting, auto code generation technology and API generator) has been the solution. 

We have helped startups, SMEs and enterprise tech teams all develop feature rich, functional and scalable apps on a tight timeline and budget. Furthermore our auto code generators have transformed these apps into a high end, enterprise grade code, complete with auto generated code docs. Both code and the related code docs are free for each Dittofi user to export and own.

There are too many apps to mention here and we have only had personal relationship with about half of our users. The rest of the users that have built apps using Dittofi have logged in and got on with building or testing the Dittofi platform by themselves (notwithstanding our continual offers of support).

** Company Highlights **

Product validation. Our stats show that a well trained Dittofi engineer is able to generate between 3500 and 7000 lines of high quality computer code in one day. To give this number some context, a productive engineer working at one of the big tech companies – Google, Amazon, Microsoft – writes between 500 and 1000 lines of code per day. This means that, roughly speaking, we have proven that it is at least 6x faster to build apps with Dittofi than writing code by hand. We plan to add in the capabilities so that you can see this speed gain from within the app and in end of day reports.

Dittofi Teams. Our team has developed the Dittofi Teams experience. This teams experience replaces our Dittofi Boot Camps. Dittofi Teams is a program that we created for individuals and technology teams to build and launch an app in a few weeks. The program consists of several sessions in which we build an app (of your choice) with you and/or your team. We have found that building an app together is a great way to (1) train you on how to utilize Dittofi to build apps 6x faster and, (2) helps you see the power of Dittofi by transforming your idea into a live, working app in a matter of weeks.

Dittofi Experts. We have trained several development agencies on how to utilize Dittofi to build and launch apps 6x faster than writing code by hand. We have certified the most high performing agencies as Dittofi Expert. Each Dittofi Expert has successfully built and launched several apps using Dittofi. The experts have helped their customers build highly scalable, custom apps within tight deadlines and budgets. 

Enterprise deals. Dittofi has helped several enterprise technology teams build custom apps either with the help of a Dittofi Expert or by training their internal teams. Enterprise app builds are large, complex projects – each has been delivered on time and well within budget saving hundreds of thousands of dollars in traditional app development labor. 

Closing enterprise app deals onto our Dittofi Teams programs and in partnership with our Dittofi Experts is especially exciting because it is helping establish Dittofi as an enterprise app builder. This has thrown us into competition with enterprise tools such as OutSystems – which we have recently beaten based on features such as code ownership, performance and flexibility of our no-code app builder.

Dittofi vs bubble.io. We have been able to consistently beat bubble.io in terms of features and functionality that can be developed. Whilst Bubble still remains the choice system for non-technical founders to build small MVP apps, we all know that Bubble apps don’t scale well and cannot be fully customized. Dittofi by contrast is helping Bubble users rebuild their apps, exactly the way that they want them and scale these apps well beyond prototype and MVP.

Dittofi App Templates. We have released an app templates marketplace. So far, we have developed a bunch UI-Kits, landing pages, backend only, frontend only and full stack apps. Our largest app is a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) app template that includes a functionally rich, robust and scalable backend, together with a nicely styled frontend.  All app templates can be cloned into Dittofi, customized from within the builder and the code for these apps can be exported and owned by you and your team. Our Dittofi Experts and our own engineering team will be adding more apps to this marketplace in the coming months.

** How to build apps 6x faster on Dittofi **

We have created three paths to app development success. The choice of path will depend on your skill sets and budget.

PATH 1: Dittofi University. Simply sign up, take out a subscription and start working through our online training materials. This path is appropriate for people that want to learn Dittofi by themselves, do not have a pressing deadline and have some technical experience building apps. In addition to our online training docs, we have developed on demand app developer support to help support you on this lonely road of app development. These support packages can either be purchased as one off hours or subscribed to monthly. 

PATH 2: Dittofi Teams. Dittofi teams is a program for you to build an app in 4 – 8 weeks. You will collaborate with our trainers to learn Dittofi and build and launch an app in 4 – 8 weeks. This path is appropriate for people with an idea that they want to transform into an app, or for development agencies that want to become Dittofi Experts.

PATH 3: Dittofi Experts. Dittofi Experts are a network of Certified Dittofi Experts that can build your app for you in as little as 10 days (depending on scope). This path is appropriate for people with an idea that they want to transform into an app, but where they do not have time or where their internal team does not have the time to develop the app themselves.
