Sure! We offer a 14 day free trial where you can experiment with one workspace and one app. You can’t download or publish your code to a custom domain while on the free trial, but you can deploy your app into Amazon Web Services and test it on a Dittofi branded domain.
It depends on your technology stack. We have written converters that turn HTML and CSS directly into our React and Redux frameworks. This means you can take existing web apps or nicely designed HTML and CSS and import the frontends design directly into Dittofi. You. can also import your database design using our SQL importer.
Google Go is a great language for backend software development, this is because it is the perfect trade off between ease of use and power. Languages like C / C++ are slightly more powerful, but they are much harder to use & it is difficult to find really good C / C++ developers. We therefore use Google Go for the bulk of the generated code and leave more complex code for specialist tasks, like big data processing.
You can export the code for free on Dittofi Pro, Dittofi Teams and Enterprise pricing plans. On each of these plans, you can download the code and sync this with local repositories such as GIT with as much code as you want. The code is identical to the code that industry professionals write. A basic Dittofi project will save you $10,000 – $20,000 on development costs. More complex projects can save you more than $500K in custom development costs.
We host our solutions inside Amazon Web Services. We containerize every application that you build, either in test or in production. We use docker to help ensure that all environments are secured. In addition, all data can be configured to be securely transferred over the network using SSL and all data is encrypted on disk.
As a complete beginner to Dittofi, you should be able to build a mutli page app with some basic functionality within the first month of use. For developers or more experienced app developers, we have seen people build more complex apps in the first 4 weeks of usage.
A workspace is where you can build your apps. Each pricing plan that you purchase is linked to a single workspace. So if you want to increase the number of workspaces, this will cost you extra. We suggest that you have a dedicated workspace for each of your Dittofi projects. For example, one company workspace for company apps and your own personal workspace for private projects.
When your app is running on the Dittofi Creator pricing plan, we will automatically hibernate your app after 48 hours of no customer usage. We do this in order to save you costs while your app is in development. Once you are on Dittofi Pro, Teams or Enterprise plans, we automatically disable App Hibernation, and leave your app switched on 24/7.

Yes! Dittofi has a web services tool that allows you to plug into any third party API over HTTP / HTTPS.
On Dittofi Pro, Dittofi Teams and Dittofi Enterprise, you can export all of your source code and host your app anywhere. The code we generate runs cross platform, typically hosted on either Windows or Linux and can be run in Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud, Azure, physical machines or anywhere else where you have a server setup. That said, our hosting options are fully managed, optimized and customizable environments that you can leverage at scale.
Yes. You can cancel your subscription at any time. After you’ve cancelled your subscription, we will hold your account active until the end of the billing period. During this time, you can come back and reactivate your account. After this, we will soft delete your account including all data and code. It is possible to recover the code and data at a later stage however this may require payment of additional fees.
